check out my Yahoo! 360 to see a picture of me at age 19. and I'm 5'9"
I was teen-Arizona Body Bulding Competition, 1988.
I found that a 10, 10, 8, 6, 4 rep routine for all my sets was sufficient for getting size and getting cut. I of course would work out until I was exhausted, So on bench days, I would do flat bench, incline bench, seated and flat dumbell presses. Tricepts, Lat pulls and sit ups. I would work out until exhausted. I would do the 10,10,8,6,4 and added weight until I was near my maximum lift weight. I would repeat the 4 and add weight until I couldn't press it.
I did basically the same thing for legs, I would squat, lege curl, leg extension and calf work, and I would do arm curls on leg days. I would use Mondays and Wendensday for upper body and Tuesdays and Thursdays for lower body.
Each day I would spend two hours in the morning and 45 minutes or one hour in the evening. I spent way too much time of my life in the gym!!!!

I was only able to maintain this type of work out for about three months and I changed my routine to be more like a power lifter, building bulk and strength. Powerlifters go for huge amounts of weight and few reps with long long rest periods between sets. And power lifters only bench press once or twice a week. They go super super heavy on bench and take days off to rest. They do the same for squats and bicept curls. They develope extremely strong bodies, but are not as big and pretty as body builders, unless they are using steroids. I can always tell a powelifter who is using roids, they have super strength and are shaped like a body builder.

Good luck, hope this gives you some ideas on how to develope your own routine.
