Just lay down and visualize each one of your problems or thoughts disseapearing and flying away... it works for me when i have all those things racing in my head.... Just think none of these things really matter.. let them all go

you need to really try to clear your mind, and relax, you are tired but yet you keep on thinking of what upset you today. So try to mediated or , watch a funny movie, one you know that will really make you laugh, and enjoy it, just kick back and visit some friends, or talk to someone, sleeping pills are not really the anwers cause you just get use to them then you need more, then they take them away, and you still have the problem but worse, and so you need to sleep with out them. And learning to really relax, and i do mean really relax, you will learn to be able to sleep, and to let go of the things that are keep you upset, and just to clear your mind, and get some good sleep.
wish you luck, and hope you sleep well tonight, god bless and take care of yourself.

Keeping that unpleasant situation in mind think you are a stone hearted individual & doesn't care the hell about anyone. You lead your own life with you own terms. You dont live for the society & people, but for yourself. Try finding the positive opportunities generated because all that has happened. Problematic situations are like gift wrappers, sure if you try opening them they bring some cool presents along.

Oh man, I know that situation all too well. But try laying down and listening to calming music, or reading a good book. Eventually you will calm down and get some well deserved sleep. Avoid sleeping pills if you can, it's always better to try to calm yourself if at all possible.

Anytime i can't sleep because im too angry or stressed i run, i run around my block until im tired and i can barely stand. If sleep is a continuous issue, i run every nite and every morning, and if u do the same i gaurantee ull get some sleep.

I take Seroquel, which is (don't freak out!) an anti-psychotic. It's usually prescribed for schizophrenia and bipolar, but is often used "off-label" to help with severe sleeping problems. It's very sedating in low-doses. And it works! You don't have to worry about side-effects because the usually prescribed dose is extremely low.
