For your threat to hold any water, it would have to be based on truth. Any story from the bible is suspect and therefore, not truly a threat.
Is your faith in your god so shaky that you are threatened by things people say here?
I'm sure your Christian brethren are whopping it up in agreement with you, but I find your words hurtful and not at all Christian or even nice for that matter. Threats are not Christ-like at all.

You forgot to say "according to my religion" again.
It sounds like you want us to convert based on pascal's wager:
"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"
This is, of course, false.
Some of the problems with the argument:
* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)
* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell
* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else
* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.
* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (somebody mentioned just today praying several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.
* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?
* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

Shove your threats where the sun don't shine, sweetie. I don't believe in your "merciful" God, and I don't believe a single, demented word you have written here.
I suggest you read the story of Abraham again. What moral person would follow Abraham? He passes his wife off as his sister so she can join Pharaoh's harem, and brings a plague upon Pharaoh's house. Found out, they get kicked out of Egypt and try the same stunt with Abimelech the King of Gerar. Both times, his wife marries another man, under false pretenses, because Abraham knows she is beautiful. Sounds like the world's first pimp to me...second, if you count Lot.
Lovely stories in your book here. Yay, Abraham.

Yes, in Proverbs it says that a fool speaks without wisdom. Alot of people do not know that curses and sicknesses have came down on them as a result of judging other people, especially Christians. Also, there was a story in the book of Ester where Haman hated the Christians and had a hanging galley made for Mordecai, but he ended up getting hung on it himself.
