In my experience, it seems like guys don't go for nice girls that don't dress trashy and are relatively smart.
Why is that?
And what attracts you personally to a girl?

Be paitent, the right guy will come along eventually. I know right now it seems like an eternity but in reality it's not too long. Guys don't hit on you because you look too classy. If you looked like an easy lay, guys would be hitting on you constantly. Don't lower yourself to that. The best guys will respect you for not being easy.

It depends what you are looking for and what you have to offer. Most guys (and girls) have no real talent or ability. They are just average. If you were average, would it be in your interest to focus attention on your abilities? No, it is better to focus attention on some superficial factor where you are more competitive. Trashy dress is a signal that can be read as 'I have not talent so admire my body instead'. If you want a deeper understanding of these dynamics, study game theory.
If you are relatively smart, then you should focus on relatively smart males. The opinions of the bottom 90% don't matter. Dress trash to get trash.
Personally, I find women that can challenge me intellectually very attractive. That is a norm for my peer group (PhD research scientists). I also find any red head attractive regardless of intellect. My lack of rationality is bothersome.

Nice guys like nice girls. Smart guys like smart girls. You should not worry about guys who are only interested in the trashy girls. If you are not in a hurry, the right guy will come along. Don't base your opinion (guys don't like nice girls) on college guys... they haven't grown up yet.

Dear you need to understand that 99% of guys are only looking for sex. Intelligent females intimitate guys. Men are pigs, I know first hand. Im 43 now , But years ago I only wanted one thing from a girl. It takes boys years to become men and gentlemen. Dont change just to get a guy.... Mr Right will come along.

I'm a freshman in college, too.
My gurls and I have come to the conclusion that guys are jerks.
lol, We thought they'd mature by the time we hit college, but apparently we were wrong! There are a few really great guys that I know but the majority of them are still stuck in kid-mode, as far as their brains are concerned!

I don't know, I would actually ask you the converse to your question: Why don't girls like nice guys? I guess the answer to both our questions is we're not hanging around the right people, or we're dating the wrong people.

well in my experience you must be lookin in the wrong crowd like my ***** told me to stop messing with aint **** ****** and find you a real man that will respect you for u........all i can say is dat ur lookin in all the wrong places....but u also have to look at it this way a guy can get away with a whole lot more with trashy girls thats why they are with not because they are girl friend material but because they are easy to get in bed than the smart girl who's going to make him work for what he wants ........dont worry about those type of people u'r going to find dat special one one day and u'll know he's a keeper if he........I'm the guy who will text you every single morning and tell you good morning and every single night to tell you sweet dreams.

guys usually like nice girls, specially if they wanted to treat them good, but Bad girls are so easy to get, thats why they prepared the easy way..
But in terms of longer relationship..dont worry good guy will chase all the nice girl for good.

i like nice girls. lol
its all about the personality. the "bad" girls just like "bad" guys are more open and sociable. that's why ppl tend to date them. cuz they put themselves out there. you don't have to be trashy to be attractive. a tank top and jeans can be just as attractive.
