is that what christians say so that they that fool themselves that they are on top of the hill?

Yes...or they say that really deep, DEEP down we really do believe in god. And they say it with such authority...like they really know what they are talking about.

I think Christians believe in God so they can go through life not being held accountable for their actions. They just have to wait till they die to pay for their actions. I am an athiest and I realize everything that I do is of my free will and if something is wrong with my life, it is my fault. If I do something wrong, I do not ask god for forgiveness, I ask the people that i affected for forgiveness.

There is such a thing as Atheists and they don't want to be held accountable anyone who would think otherwise is only fooling their self. Christians usually prefer to call them Godless Heathens though.

an atheist says there is no god but there is no proof of that. So technically they are called agnostic.

this is true, they just want to live their lives guilt free, with no convictions.but it doesn't work. they will not win.
