I have seen dog "deodorant/ deodorizers" at Petco before you might want to look into that.

Katsmeow asked the right questions. The breed of dog makes a difference. Some breeds just have an odor. Dogs with wrinkly skin (boxers, bull dogs, pugs etc) need to be cleaned thoroughly or they will smell. Dogs with floppy ears are prone to mites, yeast and other infections. Does Candy shake her head a lot or scratch at her ears? Could be she needs her anal glands excreted. (yuck) but it happens. Yeast also gets into dogs skin and can smell badly. Could be allergies to something outside. Could be some kind of food allergy. Or, Candy could be finding something outside and eating it, rolling in it or whatever!! My dogs love squirrel pee and poop!! Not to mention those dang Canadian Geese!!! I would keep a close eye on her when she is outside to see if she gets into anything. If she doesn't, and still has an odor problem, take her to the vet to rule out anything else. Allergies, food, bacterial infections, mites, yeast or anal glands.

Well, this depends on a few things. One, how old is Candy? If she is an older dog, it could be her teeth, maybe abscessed or just gum disease. I have seen a whole house smell because of a dogs infected ears, does she scratch at her ears? Is she losing hair? Another type of infection that can smell. You need to be the detective and figure out where the smell is coming from, good luck.

When dogs go outside, they like to find something smelly and roll in it. That is probably what she is doing. You can get some doggy cologne at walmart. It is inexpensive and a couple of short squirts and your dog will smell much better.

She might have a bladder infection or some kind of other infection, they typically begin to smell pretty badly, and giving her a bath a lot may just spread something so you might want to take her to the vet just to be checked up on. Also, mostly because it would be easier for you, you might want to use dry dog shampo. You just put it on and brush it through.

What kind of dog is she? If she's a hound breed, they tend to stink horribly, even worse after baths or coming in from outside. Unfortunately some dogs just naturally stink, and we as their owners have to love them for it anyway. You could try professional grooming and see if that makes a difference.

The best advise is take her to the vet. i have met a few dogs with thyroid problems that have that odor, you can wash them but in a few days they get disguisting agian. they can have a dry coat or thin coat and be hard to maintain a perfect weight. This is easily diagnosed and treated if you act fast.

she isn't rolling or eating dirt of any kind? she has no sores? Check her diet, bath and if necessary use doggy scent! (it won't hurt her). Get a vet check up, make sure teeth and digestion are all OK

When I wash my dog & he smells good then goes outside he comes in smelling too. He ususally doesn't smell bad if I only let him out long enough to do his 'business'

take her to the vet or you could switch your dog soap to a better one..... it could also be the food that you give it =) or maybe your not cleaning her very well.... she could have went someplace where it stinks too every time you let her out.....
