Everyone is different even within the breed, but any dog with large jowels can produce slobber. Mine however seems to only slobber after drinking and it is actually just excess water . It usually isn't enough to worry about, but sometimes after he drinks I run a "doggie cloth" over his mouth and it is solved. Maybe I'm just lucky, but this seems to be the norm with the ones I have had or have contact with. Only one really seemed to be a "DROOLER".

My folks next door neighbors have one. He slobbers all over the place especially when he gets excited to see us. I like the dog but just about gag when the stringers of spit dangle back & forth. LOL! When he's inside looking out the window & barking, the glass is all slimy. He's excellent with kids, cats, small dogs & even pet bunnies.

as a breed they are prone to drool, however, drooling can be directly related to the bloodline of the dog and how much testosterone the dog has, so say a female will drool less then a male, and a neutered male will drool less than an un-neutered male. its best to see the parents
