I don't know, but you're right. I like to nap but sometimes I wake up really, really grouchy. Good question.

It is ok to still give him a bottle if it helps him take a nap. Also if u feed him some baby food before his naps it helps, because they get full. Which usually is a main factor on why they dont sleep. Also if he just kicks while in his crib and plays, just let him. Hes not doing any harm by that. So babies will play but then will have to cry themselfs to self. If he starts crying, let him cry for about 10-15 mins. This usually helps. Also make sure he is getting enough activity.

I was watching this show about health, and a health expert said that it has something to do with the brain. He suggested that people take naps from 1-3PM for no more that 40 minutes at a time. If you take one for longer than that you are most likely to wake up groggier.

I always wake up grumpy from naps or when I have to get up in the morning to go to school if I don't get enough sleep....that might be the problem, not getting enough sleep.

You know what? If I knew that answer I would be rich.
I have someone in my home now that is a complete jerk when he awakens from a nap or in the morning.
There is no reason in the world to be so nasty is there?
I hate it and would like to bop him for yelling and acting so rude to me.
I guess he is just a jerk to begin with.......

I refuse to nap because I always feel worse after the nap!!!

Beacuse you sometimes can sleep funny and that can cause you to wake up super cranky or you just do.

They say that you need to sleep a minimum of 1 and a half hours or increment there of to wake up and feel refreshed.
