Damn how many times you gonna ask in one night?

Well if you want to talk to your mechanic and sound like you know what you're talking about, tell him you think the spark plugs are fouled again, because the cars hesitating. Most likely you need an engine rebuild, which is easily 2 grand, but think of it as an investment: 2 grand and your engine will easily go another 7 years.

Or a short term fix would be putting in plugs that burn hotter, but no mechanic would condone that.

If there's a lot of oil on the outside of the spark plug, then it could be a valve cover gasket leak.

Hesitation could be a number of different things. It could be misfire, in which case the check engine light will usually come on. Is it?

Another thing is the mass air flow sensor. They get dirty and then their response time slows down. It could easily cause hesitation. These MAF sensors can be cleaned, but you need to be careful cleaning them. It's actually better to try cleaning them first before replacing them with a remanufactured unit.

i know ur a girl, but ive been a mechanic for 13 years now, and what uve just explained it hit me,, u got a valve cover leak and o the valve cover u have i whole gasket that goes around then on the inside of the cover u hav 4 smaller gaskets which prevent the oil from getting into ur spark plugs...makes sense..if it is a 4 cylinder then u just hav to replace 1 valve cover gasket. but if it is a v6 then u might hav to do both.... i also fix cars on the side..so if ur interested for this job i would charge 50 dollars...a lot cheaper then a shop i know that....6263912067
