Well is he wormed? That might be the problem. Lots of dogs do that when he does tell him no and flick his nose slightly.

Some say it is a vitamin deficiency, but I don't know. But dogs do it. There is stuff you can buy at pet stores that you put in their food that makes their poop less appetizing. Of course I don't know what they find appetizing in the first place!! Others say that if you put meat tenderizer on the feces after they poop, the dog won't eat it!

I don't know why the dog does it but I know you can buy stuff at the pet shop to put in it's food to stop it doing it if that's any help.

My dogs dig into the cat litter box for some tasty kitty treats. Don't know why either.

my friends shih tzu was doing that and the vet gave her a pill to take that makes it taste really bitter and she no longer does that
