I'm in grade 8, and my friend Jake and i have known each other since we were in grade 3, and everbody says that he likes me. And some of my friends say that i like him- and i don't really know if i do or not. But lately he's been a real jerk toward me so I decided that we're not friends anymore. But then sometimes he's been really nice.

That's normal middle-school behvior, he probably likes you. You need to decide for yourself if you like him or just want to be friends. U can't let ur friends tell u how to think :)

he's a young guy.... by the time you get to 10th grade he will change so he isnt a jerk.... guys dont know how to act when they like someone so they usually end up being jerks... i knew this 1 girl since i was in preschool pretty much.. and i did pretty much teh same thing in middle school.... i still feel like crap for that. but the good thing is we are dating and things are still going really great
