Gravity is a result of an objects massiveness or density. Every object has a gravity well that draws less massive objects to it if they are massive enough. Space is not a dimension lacking gravity. The fact is that the space between massive objects is far enough apart that their gravitational pull don't draw things to them. if any planet or other heavenly body gets caught in the density well of the sun would be in fact pulled into the sun

Hey, gravity is a myth, the world sucks and don't let anybody fool you. I can spin a ball all day long and never attract even a fly, so its the suck factor for sure. Oh and the sun being a bigger object, just sucks harder. Besides born agains all agree, the world sucks, right?

No, the Earth is in a stable orbit, and you are gravitationally attracted to the Earth. The Earth is much closer than the Sun, and thus has a much stronger gravitational pull on you.

You only have to worry about the gravitational effects of the Sun if you have a huge mass, or if you get TOO close.
