I feel like it's out of place in the English alphabet.

Its face value in Scrabble is 10 points. If i can play it in 2 words at once, say playing ZAG and putting the Z on a triple letter score in front of IT, it's a whopping 60 points just for the Z!

i love the letter "z"
i love the way it looks in cursive
and the way zorro slashes it on doors
and the way people say "zed" in england
and the way people say "zees eez mademoiselle...." when they're putting on a fake french accent
and the way it's kind of the same as the letter "n"
and the way it's the same letter upside down (only I, O, S, and X can say the same thing)
and i love the way "zzzzzzzz" means sleep, but when was the last time someone made that noise when they slept?

we need the letter Z !!!!
a Zebra would be an Ebra and I don't like.
Zoo would be just Oo.
Zealous would be Ealous
Zeal would be Eal
then there are the words with z found in them like
amazing, it would be amaing (loses its zing)
Lazy would be lay and we already use that word
pizza would be pia
and the name Zack would be Ack
Zone would be One and we already use that word.
And the PEZ dispenser would become the PE dispenser (not good)
We need Z, it matters that we have Z.

And to the lady a few spaces above me. It is not "zed". When I heard that for the first time I didn't know what the hell the person was trying to say. Zed? it is ZEEEE..

Its a fabulous letter. Its very under appreciated and should have more words that begin with this letter. Its the most fashionable letter in the alphabet.

Most people with a first name beginning with Z seem to be laid back and pleasant. Must be something about always getting stuck last in line.
