The answer to your question is yes, however to
expand on this subject. Rawhind chews are 99% fat, so if your dog has a weight problem, you might want to think of cutting back on them. The other problem with rawhind chews, when I was an ER tech, we saw at least one dag a week with a rawhind caught in its throat or lower. I don't recommend them.

For dogs, yes....
Although I have a dog that, when she was little, I couldn't give her a whole sow's ear- it would make her sick. (The sound of a heaving dog, on your bed is NOT my idea of a good time!!!) I had to take it away when she was about half way through.
She's a year and a half now, and she loves sow's ears!!... and anything else I give her to chew... she loves her squeekie toy!! She'll just squeeze it in her mouth (no tearing, yet, thankfully). Guess she likes the texture.

my vet told me not to give my dogs rawhide treats , he said it can cause choking and blockages and the fat in them is hard for them to digest , and i don't want my dogs to choke or get a belly ache , so i won't be buying them any more

even though a lot of owners give their dogs rawhide, it is really not good for them, it can cause intestinal blockage and kill your dog

Totally. Besides, before they can chew it up and swallow it, they make is super soggy with their slobber. Dogs love them and they work their jaw muscles and clean their teeth!

Yes. But they're designed specially for dogs. Humans can't eat them (unless you have jaws of steel and killer teeth).
