I have seen several people say that they do not believe in Hell, so it won't affect them. Hell is a real place regardless of whether you choose to believe....If I said "I do not believe in airplanes" would that make them any less real?? What is up with this?

You're right of course Mandy. I often say, if you disbelieve in gravity, walking off the side of a 20 story building won't make the fall any less painful.

1* I Do Believe You Are Refering To Narrowmindedness.

1a) One may disbelieve in Hell, but at end of their mortal life? They will find out if it is real. And if it is? Nothing they can say or do, or wish, will make it go away for them or anyone else.
NOTE: MANY have had NDEs and the experiences for them were MORE than REAL. Who are we, who have not had such an experience, to say that they did not go to Heaven OR Hell during those times? We cannot!

1b) Just because you have not experienced, touched, seen, tasted, felt, something does not make it unreal, it simply means you have never been given and tangible proof of it's existance.
One cannot say beyond a shadow of doubt there is no Hell, it is like asking an Atheist to prove that God is not real. They can't, because this is an assumption not a proven fact. Whereas Christians can not prove the xistance of a God, only God can do that.

2* ANOTHER EXAMPLE:

2a) People call the Bible fiction, but just because they did not live withint that part of History, does not make it so. For the people who wrote the book out, as is said - by the divine inspiration of God, it was a History book ... not a fictional creation. No one can prove it is fiction, so why make yourself look ignorant in saying it is, instead why doesn't one simply say you do not know if it is fiction or nonfictional?

2b) One may disbelieve in the Bible, saying it is a farce, but that cannot make it a farce. One cannot disprove something that is a history of another time, unless they can return to that time to find out for themselves. And even then, they cannot make anyone else believe what they experience within that time, unless those others were there too. However this is an unattainable thing to do.

Do not state that Hell is a real place. This is your belief, not a fact. Facts can be proven. Can you prove to me Hell exists? No. Neither can I prove it doesn't exist. I don't state it as a fact. And the comparison with airplanes does not work. Airplanes do exist. It is a fact. So, if you said you don't believe in airplanes, that would be a delusion.

The difference is every one knows an airplane is real and everyone of intelligence knows Hell is a fantasy. Disbelieving it doesn't make it unreal. The fact that it is unreal is what makes it unreal. In fact it is just silly, like you.

No more than belief in something makes it real. I can believe in faries and unicorns, it doesn't make them real.

You can say that you don't believe in airplanes, but then I would like you to explain what the hell happened to the World Trade Center on 9/11.

Well I can see an aeroplane, I have travelled on an aeroplane.
But NO ONE has seen Hell, or BEEN to Hell!
And if you do some research, instead of blindly spouting rubbish, you will find that Hell is a misinterpretation of the Hebrew word Sheol, and it is NOT the place you have been taught!

No, and belief does not make it real. Hell may or may not be a real place whether someone believes or not. I don't believe in Hell, so why would I be afraid of it? Are you afraid of vampires?

I don't believe there are any continents in the world other than the americans. I know some people have told me they exist, and I've seen them on TV. And I have friends that claim to go there and disappear for a couple weeks. But, I have never seen them, how can they exist.

Yeah, but your thinking comes from only your perspective and being convinced that of course you are right. If you could try to think outside yourself, you might get it.

Edit: This is like my saying that of course Santa is real (only because I believe him to be) and stating that someone else's disbelief doesn't make him fake...

Hell is a real place? Or, have you been brainwashed into believing that? Think about it.
