To A Christian, everyday should be considered the Sabbath.
You can't limit God to just one day, everyday should be HOLY.

Please note that of the 10 Commandments, the 4th begins with "Remember (to keep the Sabbath holy)". If you observe the other 9 Commandments, then why would this of all the Commandments be dropped?
It is my experience that an observance of the Sabbath is mostly a blessing to me, the observer. I get a whole day out of the week to to let go of the less attractive features of the ratrace, and to focus on Jesus and "do(ing) good" (what we are instructed to do on the Sabbath). I'm a double right brain led person-- really pretty scattered and artsy-- and I must say that the Sabbath has brought a sort of order into my life that is hard to describe except to say that I know a peace that I did not know when I was doing all the same sorts of things on Sabbath that I do on the other 6 days of the week. I wasn't born into the faith-- I didn't embrace the faith as a young adult-- so by the time I was baptized (in my 40s) I was pretty much sure that this was an important part of the Christian experience I wanted to maintain, to grow in, and to delight in.
What Would Jesus Do?
Jesus continued to go to the Temple on Sabbath. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that he switched the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. He was crucified on a Friday and "rested" in the tomb on the Sabbath.
God bless!

All those observing the sabbath be sure for all you men to get circumcised if you're not otherwise you will be unclean. Or if you believe as apostle Paul believed then if you believe in Christ you are no longer under the law. The tradition changed because the apostles of Christ would meet on the first day of the week to plan their ministering strategies. This became a new tradition and why not put Christ at the first of the week instead of the last

you should open up the sabbath on friday nite with a devotion time. if it starts early and u have nothing to do you can watch a bible movie or play a bible game. you should have dinner prepared before sabbath and the place should b cleaned, therefore no work will have to b done. you can go to church regularly on saturday, and when you come back from church, do as the bible says, and rest! sleep all day if u want. when sabbath is over you should close it out the same way u opened it, with devotion.

He should praise the Lord that He freed us from the drudgery of the law that He put on the Jews. And remember what Paul said, if you try to keep the law, you are guilty to keep it all. And the law cannot be kept...that is also why He put it on the Jews...He didn't want them to see or receive Christ as it would shut out the rest ... where His heart was. Long story. Anyway...
The sabbath died when Jesus died. Give God His time, that's all that matters. And, you don't have to go to a church to do it either!!
And anyone who disagrees with these things, ignore them...they don't know jack **** about the Master.

recognize Jesus, as He is Lord of the Sabbath, and all the feasts and customs are jewish. Sunday's the Lord's day cuz the early church wanted to celebrate God on the day He rose from the dead (Easter Sunday). The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath.

GREAT QUESTION ! you get a star for this...
They should do exactly as the 4th Commandment says...REMEMBER IT ! and keep it Holy as God has commanded us.
I don't understand why so many worship on Sunday instead of the Bible Sabbath. I'm Seventh-Day Adventist and I always keep the Sabbath..
Great Question
God Bless & keep the Faith !

He should observe it from a distance. Point at it and say, "There's the Sabbath." Adding "over yonder" is optional in most regions.

well....we are suppossed to not do real physical labor....but it's more like "required" labor. like, don't do chores on the sabath, or run around buying groceries, shopping for someone's birthday etc.. you are suppossed to relax and spend time with family, and this would include going to church.
however....if for your family, working in the garden together is a bonding time, and not a chore...then do it! if you enjoy going out as a family and purchasing gifts for loved ones, do it. it's all about your focus, which should be on God and family, and NOT on you and your material wants, stresses, and chores that you should have done saturday.

Jesus Christ is our Sabbath. It is in Him that we "rest" everyday and we can do no "work" to add to His work on the Cross.
