All day I spend with my secretary. Shes cute, fun, and we get along great. We live somewhat different life styles. Does it ever work for a boss to date his secretary?

No because if it doesn't work out, she can file sexual harrassment on you.

The fantasy is a great one, but the reality is not good at all. Think about how you have that ex girlfriend that you have to kind of hide from whenever you see her. Now imagine her being in your office every day. And being able to sue you for sleeping with her in the first place! It's never a good idea to dip your pen in the company ink, man. Much safer to date someone else's secretary and keep it professional with your own.

this has a lot of possible wrong in this. not considering if either of you have a gf/bf, working with your girlfriend will distract both of you from work and your work will suffer. you boss will get upset and yell at you. and if you break up she can hit you with a sexual harassment. and how can you get an angry secretary to work without speaking to her? not to mention you both being the talk of the office.

Workplace relationships aren't always the best idea. What if she makes a BIG mistake as your secretary? Are you willing to break up with her when you need to fire her?

Usually, you shouldnt let your personal life get tangled up with your business. It may seem innocent at first, but if you get into a fight with her or the two of you break up, then tensions rise at work and this could cause an uncomfortable situation.

Not unless you plan on living happily ever after. Most of the time, things happen, when it does it will start to affect your work environment. More so for her since you are her boss. I wouldn't chance it, but hey, to his, his own!!
