The effects of alcohol are different for different people. How much you weigh has a lot to do with how long it takes for a person to feel intoxicated. Also, people who drink often and to excess may need to drink more than one who doesn't in order to feel drunk. Depending on these factors, one could feel intoxicated after just one shot. But... whether you feel drunk or not, you could be over the legal limit so keep that in mind.

Yes, the young lady is right, you might feel dizzy or tipsy in a short time such as 10 or 15 minutes seems about right.
It depends on your body weight and rate of metabolism in the liver as well as what you are drinking (percent alcohol) and if you have eaten recently, etc...
If you are a thin young lady and have not eaten it can seem that you are slightly drunk within a short time.

It depends on the person. If you're a pro, it will take many shots to get drunk. If you're not a drinker, you will start feeling buzzed pretty quickly.

If you are a lightweight like me, it should only take about 10 minutes.
And yes, for me , one shot gets me drunk...

one isnt going to get you drunk. its 3 or 4 for me of something really strong like gin or tequila. depends how big of a person you are, and your tolerance rate. if this is your first time. your going to throw up.

everybodys tollerance and bodies are different so you cant just have one answer for that when it hits you youll know but i dont think one shot should do much
