Is george bush going to give the illegal immigrants that have been in the country 5 or more years citizenship or what? Whats the plan right now?I'm not really sure I heard him talk about it throughly in his last speech

The president's plan would grant temporary-worker status, for three years to six years, to millions of undocumented workers. It also would it easier for those workers to get permanent U.S. citizenship.
Honestly, I think he would like to welcome them with open arms..and am not sure he won't do just that, if he figures a way to do it. Here is a place to check it out ..but I think it is a little "sugar coated".

Congress will be making that decision. Bush has his opinions but your action taking Congress will make that decision. (probably by the time the ice burgs all melt)

Only if they enlist in the armed forces. Where did you think those 20,000 soldiers are coming from?
