you should give a bit more info about your budget and the size of the TV you want. if your budget is under $800, you're pretty much limited to the traditional CRT TVs. Among those, just decide which size fits better in your room, and then buy the cheapest one of that size from one of the known brans (Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, ... they all should be fine, as long as it is not a no name).
If your budget is more, then you can look for HDTVs. The cheaper ones are rear projection DLP or LCD TVs (which have quite good qualities, but take a bit more space), and the more expensive ones are flat panel LCD or Plasmas.
To find the lowest prices, you can buy online (e.g., at amazon.com), although it's better to go to a store like Best Buy or Fry's and see the TV before ordering it online.

Need more information. If you want a big screen with high definition, look at the samsung dlp (1080p). If you are looking for something smaller, look at lcd's if you want flat panel, or flat screens if you want tubes. Samsung's are usually one of the better brands, and are usually better priced as well. Sony usually has good quality, but is higher priced for the same features, because of the Sony name. Generally, if you've never heard of the company, don't buy a tv made by them.

you should get this Samsung LN32C350 liquid crystal exhibit HDTV. in this television the photo high quality is exceptionally strong, and that's between the most inexpensive HD contraptions for this length. The LN32C350 even has a particular sport Mode that boosts darkish aspects, sharpens the photo, hastens the photo processing reaction and complements the sounds of your video games. The liquid crystal exhibit creates the photo; the CCFL backlights it to make it seen. jointly they convey alluring, brilliant, saturated shades.
