According to religious interpretation of freewill (as far as I know): If someone grows up in a Christian community and chooses to be atheist or Muslim then it's his fault. If someone grows up in an atheist or Muslim community and chooses to be atheist or Muslim then it's his fault. Everything is their fault if they know what Christianity is and reject it. If someone is raised by KKK and becomes racist then it's still his own fault that he is a racist.

So we are not accountable for what socialization we receive, but we are accountable for what we do with it? And you believe we suffer in Hell for rejecting Jesus Christ?

Let's say a man is born with a horrible disfigurement. He is abused his entire life a great deal and becomes embittered to a point he hates everything even Christ. He will still go to Hell assuming he is still of sound mind?

Why blame society for corrupting your children when ultimately you say they still responsible for their actions despite their socialization?

Why is the playing field uneven? Of course a man who has everything has a better chance than a man who is hated by everyone.

It's not blaming society. Society makes you. That includes everyone who has ever been in your life.

that man with a horrible disfigurement can choose to become bitter at his terrible treatment-but not all react that way, believe it or not-some chose, as the dumb saying goes, to make lemonaid out of the lemons life hands them.

I was crippled at the age of 3 and 1/2 with polio (and now losing the use of all my muscles)-but I chose to participate in life-involve in our neighborhood's kids activities-rode a bike, swam, climbed trees and was in adult life a type A personality. I have had a career, raised a family, married and lived and worked hard on a farm til we retired to town-loved to dance and yes, I had one leg shorter than the other and the foot deformed but I never lacked for boyfriends or dance partners.

God led me to teach an adult bible study sunday group for 32 years and we all gained knowledge that led to wisdom in how we live-I was a newsapaper hometown journalist and had so many crafts and hobbies, one a career that brought people from foreign countries to my home lovely shop and over a thousand people registered for demonstrations at my home. I read a book a night,
have severe insomnia so I clean cupbds, write emails, bible study, etc. and on and on.

I could have curled up in a corner at the onset of polio (paralized a year and could only move my eyelids)-and let life pass me by-that is pathetic. Also about that bitter man-you can hardly escape hearing the gospel of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ these days and God can turn a stone hard heart into one of love, compassion, vitality no matter what! Yes a disfigurement is hurtful-I was chased home in grade school every day by bullies and sometimes got beat up for no reason til one day I stood up and pasted one in the face-the bullying stopped and I made a lot of friends.

Ok! say your family is Muslim and when you grow older you leave Islam! It is not your fault the way your parents raised you. If is that fault of the person as you reach adulthood, or if they know the truth and then decide to reject it then they are at fault.

The bible says children will not be held accountable for their parents and vise versa.

Mankind has been denying their own accountability for thousands of years.
We accept praise and boast of our accomplishments, but blame others for anything that didn't turn out the way we expect it to.
Mankind in general are arrogant and refuse to except personal responsibility for our bad judgments.
Hell is not a place of torment, but one of unconsciousness. Unaware of what is going on and awaiting a Resurrection here on earth.

It's pretty simple and use used the magic word, "Choice". They are responsible for their choices and actions. However, we must see society corruption in light of the story told in Hag.1:6-7. Society aids in corruption even though it doesn't take responsibility.

Nowadays its almost impossible to not hear of Christ (notice i said almost) but God constantly reminds you and me, that He can bypass the human mechanism in which we give our message. If you read the book Persian Springs (i think) you will hear the testimony of 12 Iranians that God spoke to them through dreams and visions.

Also its not nessasarily not beliving in Jesus that sends you to hell, its your SINS. The only way you can be forgiven though is in Jesus. But lets not forget, that is the Christian belief of why he came in the 1st place. Also, read the comment from Ester above me.

That's our challenge in life. You have choices, regardless of your upbringing (free will). You get to choose to live your life they way you were brought up or you choose to live your life the way you feel you should for you. It's all about accountability. Taking responsibility for your actions and suffering the consequences or not if you live right.

I'm nothing like my Mother. She lives her life differently than me. And I don't associate myself with the types of people I was around when I was a kid. It's all about your choices.

You don't have to be christian to know right from wrong. Society can be at fault but to blame them for committing crimes is a cop out. Grown adults who have been taught right from wrong are responsible for their actions.

The bible is very simple in the explanation of salvation. "All of creation speaks of the existence of God, that no man has excuse". Jesus said He was the only way to God. The bible says that God foreknows every single person who will be His, before they are ever born.

Therefore, it doesn't matter where you are born, how you were brought up, what handicaps you have, or what belief your parents are. If you are one of His, God will find you. He calls people out from every kindred, nation and tribe.

Damn near everybody places blame on someone or something else for their own problems. Many people have a hard time accepting that they are flawed. It isn't a Christian thing.

ive never claimed that society has corrupted anyone. if you understand a certain concept and you decide to go agaisnt it shouldnt you be held responsible, you made the decision. we have options in life and they are all redibly available to us despite the restrictions.if a man decides to hate everything then shouldnt he be held responsible? ive expericend difficulties in my life and i have hated people for it but i decided that i couldnt allow it to alter my ideas. its something that you have to determine on your own, everyone if fully capable of making their own decisions.
