My son downloaded some iPod program that included Quicktime. I've heard all sorts of problems when you try to uninstall the program. Can I change settings so that Quicktime will not ever play? If it is better to remove the entire progran will my sons ability to use his iPod be affected?

Click start run.

Type in explorer and hit enter.

In the window that pops up, Tools, folder options.

Click the file types tab and scroll through the list and change all refferences to Quiktime to Media player....

Select the object, hit the change button, then under OTHER PROGRAMS, select media player...

That will do, as soon as you hit ok..

Right click your audio file such as mp3, wav, or wma. Then click on properties. On the General Tab you can see Opens with. Click change then select the program that you want to play your media files.
