I have the same problem and trying to forget is REALLY hard. Just know that you eventually will. Tell yourself you deserve someone much better, if this guy doesnt love you then its his loss. I think the moment you will forget about him will be the moment you feel attracted to someone else.

try to think about all the negatives aoubt him...even if he does sumthing like picking his nose or chews really loud when he eats lol im goign through the same thign too but its kinda vice versa...i use to liek this guy but not ne mroe i got over him cuz i thought well hes not exactly my type of guy plus hes kinda playing mind games, so it was easy 4 me but i did go thru a lot to get there but basically its kinda a natural stage n sooner or later ull get over him, the best advice is think aobut how many other guys r better than him and major one his negatives!

try going "cold turkey" dont talk to him hang out with him or anything like that. it might be hard if you are friends but thats the most effective way.
