I took some contact solution from eye doctor. It is the same stuff they hand out as samples.?

Is this considered stealing? I really didn't think it was but then I thought what if they sell the stuff to. If they have me on camera, taking it, can I get introuble? It is probably not worth more than $5. It is only like a 2 oz bottle. I am willing to pay for it, but don't really want to call them and tell them. I would just like to forget about it.

If it's the same as the samples, why didn't you just ask if you could have a sample?

If you took it without permission then yes it's considered stealing.
Why didn't you just ask for a free sample?
