I believe that God expects our minds to be clear and to use the intelligence given us.
As most claim that drugs affect all differently, I don't think we can trust the effects to bring a guaranteed or true knowledge or enlightenment.

If that works for them then great. I spend most of my time trying to get back to my natural state without any worldly influence. It is not required but I like to do it.

I am sure they do, since they expand the mind. But not for me. They do more damage than enlighten.
