If it's love it shouldn't matter to her where it is. But if your looking for a good story to tell other people try something off the wall like
putting an add in the Sunday paper and bringing her the paper and breakfast in bed. Pls don't do the whole sky writing thing.

I personally hate my brother in law - but I liked the way he proposed to my sister. He took her on a hot air balloon ride and proposed to her on the ride. Pretty unique, huh?

my husband and i went hiking in the mountains, we came up on a gazebo, he proposed to me there, we later got married in the same spot he proposed. and we've been married for 10 years now.

An aspect to consider is to make it A MEMORABLE PLACE (somewhere the two of you can re-visit on occasion.)
There are no "specific locations" that are "TEXTBOOK-GOOD" over any other locations. It is all in how you present it.
