Personally, I find that as far as dirt cheap wine goes, this stuff is easily drinkable.

I have to be honest and tell you we have bought it by the caseload for parties, holidays etc....we love our wines and can tell you the difference in Bordeauxs from one town to the next...most of your guests can't....not that we don't love our guests but Two Buck Chuck is cheap and much more acceptable than a lot of higher priced bottles on the market.......

Love to age it for 2 or 3 years, then poor it into a saucepan with some cinnamon and sugar, and reduce it to make the perfect sauce for my venisson loin. In other words: it's not worth drinking.

hi licketych! first off, i love trader joes! i think the quality of charles shaw is more of a reflection of trader joes and their ability to spot quality vendors at great prices. and yes, even post-sideways, i think the cs merlot is easy to drink.

have fun!
