Totally normal. Every time she bites you, stand up and walk away. She wants to play with you, so removing your attention when she bites hard will teach her she can't nip you. When she stops trying to nip, praise her and go back to playing. If she is too wound up (sometimes puppies go crazy when they're overstimulated), put her in a time out in her crate or a puppy-proofed room with a toy to chew on. It's not a punishment, just a chance to calm down. Once she's calmer, she can rejoin the activity. Always keep a few appropriate chew things handy to stuff in the puppy's mouth. If she grabs a sock, trade her for an appropriate chew toy. Get a couple different types of toys - a stuffed toy, a chewy rubber ball or something, as well as the kong. Try stuffing the kong with kibble and peanut butter, and sticking it in the freezer for a few hours before giving it to her. This will help stimulate interest and keep her busy. The cold will also soothe those puppy gums.

Step 1. Go to ER.
Step 2. Go to pharmacy to fill Rx for abx
Step 3. Call vet for recommendation on animal trainers/behaviorists
Step 4. Take dogs to animal behavior classes.
Your dog does not know bite inhibition. This is why when they bit you, you bled. They need to be properly trained. Start know get them trained, or have them destroyed a year later after they kill some poor little girl.

You should dissinfect the wound and apply triple antibiotic ointment. If it looks infected in a few days, then see a doctor. And I would consider getting rid of the pit bull pups before they get big enough to do real damage.

Don't worry, your pit bull puppy didn't bite you on purpose. Your hand got in the way when he was attacking your other one. It's happened to me. So, yes, it's normal. Your hand will be really sore for a couple weeks.

Go get some antibiotics just for you to be safe and to Sonora M who said "Yes, worry that when they're older they'll bite your fool head off. " Dont even start with that okay? They will not because bit bulls are sweet sweet dogs
Best of luck to you and your babies!

Yes I am sure it hurts, as their puppy teeth are very sharp. Use peroxide, and neosporon and it will clear up. Pit Bulls play rough. Is this your first experience with pit bulls? They have to learn who their pack leader is very early on. All I have to do is speak my pits name and he stops what he is doing. He knows I am the leader of this pack!

Thats weird, puppies aren't usually that agressive. A 5 month old is still very young. They should be really nice and playful towards each other. If i was you i'd kill that dog. once its tasted blood it will want more

You should have a tetanus shot if you have not had one in a while. Tetanus is still very deadly and very preventable.
