Yup...I agree....he is very young.
He was also insulted that you didn't go with him, thought he would feel you out by attempting to make you a little jealous...decided that either you didn't react (which could have possibly made him consider giving that plan up) or you did (and you unknowingly convinced him that you like him and he thought that he'd ask again because he confirmed you like him).
Either way, he got what he wanted. No point in trying to guess what the heck he needed to hear from you. Be yourself, go for a bite and don't think about it.

This means: That he would like to get to know both you and the other woman to see which one he is more compatible with. Or He sees you as a friend and a potential more than friend some day so he wants to keep you around so, if the other woman doesn't work out he can try later with you! My opinion is he should communicate with you on his attentions a little more so, you could know if you are just going to be his support woman or is he ready to get to know the person you are, instead of juggling two woman in his life because this is really not far to you! For further tips on what a good man should be like ask yourself:1. Does he love you for who you are (inside first than out)? The Bible says: *“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-6
2. Does he honor you? Will he do things just to make you happy? Will he try some of the things you are interested in or maybe shares some of the same interests and hobbies? The Bible says:
* “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Romans 12:10
3. Cherishes your body, mind and soul? Doesn't go to far on these things until your ready? The Bible says: * “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet Spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” 1 Peter 3:3-4
4. You trust him to the fullest? He is your best friend and you are his? The Bible Says: * “ Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes always perseveres.” 1 Corinthians 13:7
5. You communicate well? He understands you like he could be your twin? The Bible says: * “ Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29
To Sum it up: Stick to 1. Love 2. Honor 3. Cherish 4. Trust 5. Communication and I promise if your relationship is based on these things you will know what its like to find true love! And Yes! I have used my principles myself and I am convinced I have found my soul mate! But to find her I also used these same principles to weed out my soul mate from the relationships that just didn't work. In addition, letting God and Jesus Christ lead your heart, mind, body and soul also aid in the weeding process.God Bless!

It means one of two things. He either wants to get advice from you concerning this other person or wants to make you think he is interested in someone else. When in reality, it is you that he is interested in. It's worth going to get a bite to eat and find out. My curiosity would make me go. Who knows, you may be the lucky person.

well, maybe he just wants to be your friend and more with the other girl? I really dont know, go out with him and ask if he is going to make a move on the girl he likes.
He might just want to get some advice from you cause you are a girl.

He wants to talk to you about the other girl - he has identified you as a "confidant" or a friend.
