Yes I did know that. That is because most churches are apostates . Many false leaders, false christians, that teach and preach a different Jesus than the one that is written about. Nor do they honor the Hallowed Sabbath 7thday . Which is the seal of God. Ex 31:13, Proverbs 7:1-3, Rev. 14:12 , etc.
They think they know the truth, but they really do not seek the truth, they listen to false leaders that tell them they will be raptured out, etc. They do not read the Bible for themselves, pray for understanding, and in fact believe false things about the Jesus, the one True Jesus. The blind lead the blind.

Yes. Sadly, many lost souls are following the rituals of religions and are trying to earn their salvation. However, Ephesians 2:8,9 plainly says that salvation is a GIFT from God. You never could, can't and will never be able to EARN a gift. Accepting Christ and what He did at the cross (and rose 3 days later) and repenting of one's sins is the only road to salvation.

That is scary because many believe that they are going to make it into Heaven but the truth of the matter is if they don't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and haven't received His forgiveness, they are not going to get in. Many of those that would say this on that day are religious people, people that have no relationship with our Savior, people that hate others, mistreat them and judge them.

I pray that I am not one of these.

Not all who say Lord,Lord have we not done great wonders in your name, will be saved. To curse the Holy Ghost will not be forgiven you in this life or the next is one to come,is an example of this meaning.
Many will be found on the road to His House but few will be chosen.

many hypocrites will call to the LORD on that day, and he will simply reply with, "I don't even know who you are". this is because He desires a relationship with us. many people today confess with their tongues, but refuse to actually walk the walk for themselves, giving christianity a bad name and look. this is the single leading cause of atheism today. where will you stand?

Yes - I know all about that verse. It pertains to unbelievers - those who don't know Christ as their Lord and Savior, though many will claim they know Christ (such as those today who claim to be 'Christian', but are not). As God also says, "For many are called, but few are chosen" (Matthew 22:14).

Jesus here is distinguishing between those who acknowledge him only in word verses those who him acknowledge with their WHOLE lives! He's saying it's gonna be harder than just saying, "Lord, I believe," but then don't show it!

Yes, I knew that.

What's your point?

Flagged for abuse.

Edit: I think it says a lot that this question abuses the Yahoo! Answers system by not asking an actual question, I point that out, and all the supposed sweet and loving Christians rank my answer down. Christians should be honest and fair, and that's why I flagged this question.
