What is it with all the Christian Bashing?

I am disapointed that with all the interesting questions that a person can ask on this site, that most of them have to do with bashing Christians is some way or another. If it were any other religion, or race getting bashed as much, the people would be kicked off the board.

The hate crime aspect of this is interesting - why IS the double standard acceptable if Christianity subject?
Please don't say it is because all Christians do this or that - that is like stereotyping all Bahai, Hindus, or Buddhists.

u haven't been here long, or ur having a selective vision day. the christians are not the only ones getting bashed, everyone gets bashed. ever seen what some of the people here say about the mislims, or gays, or blacks and mexicans? it's a bash fest here. get self righteous and feel the victim if u want, but i say ur wrong entirely.
on this site the general groups bashed are;
gays, muslims, christian, pagans, atheists, blacks, whites, mexicans, the french, the spanish, the russians, the americans, the chinese, the iraqis, the list goes on.
christians by the way make up the vast majority of the people on this site.

You are absolutely right. Those people have no joy or peace. I'm not talking about happiness, because you can find happiness in material things. I'm talking about joy and peace that is found in Christ. Knowing that no matter my circumstances, His love for me will reach beyond the heavens. No matter what I may have or have not, His love still remains.

You can definitely feel the hate in peoples' voices that do not know Christ on this site. Some joke about it, some make outlandish claims, and some even pretend like they don't care. But it is obvious that there is SOMETHING missing in their lives.

I've even noticed when people have serious questions about a scripture verse, someone will chime in with their hate speech. It is so sad that they are just screaming for attention and love. I really feel bad for them, but it will ultimately come down to a personal choice of how you want to spend eternity.

In all honesty I have seen some Christians that have bashed back. However, there could be a lot of anger toward Christianity. I know a lot of them who profess to be Christian that are judgmental, cruel, rude, etc. Unfortunately, it's hard to separate the bad from the good. Also, some of the people could be insecure in the path they've chosen and feel the need to put others down to feel better about themselves.

Honestly honey I have seen people of all faiths bashing, even some so-called Christians. The flaming debates are not specifically resigned to those bashing Christians.

I have learned that everyone here has their point of view, they are entitled to it. If I don't want to read something negative, I avoid negative looking questions. When people answer me rudely, I simply let them have their say, and I pray for them and move on.

You can't join any forum or Q/A group without there being hecklers in the crowd. Don't let it upset you so much sweetie, take that worry and frustration and put your energy into prayer for them. It will help you to forgive the agitation it causes you.

Open your eyes and you will see that it is the Christians who bash gays and athiests here. Many times a day they tell gays and athiest they are going to hell, now that is bashing.*

What I see are Christians who live as Jesus Christ intended - who try to do the best they can in this life. But what I also see are Christians who go around pointing out the specks in the eyes of others, but who fail to notice that they've got a great big ol' log sticking out of their own eyes.

Spare me. Anytime anyone disagrees with a christian they immediately start whining about persecution and bashing. I'm on this board ALOT....too much really.....and I see way more bashing coming from the christians. Christ-like attitudes are in short supply here.
