small parts of my skin on my face randomly get red and stay red for about a week or so. They are not pimples, it's just flat and red. What can I do to get rid of the red spots? It's not a rash either...

It sounds like a little inflammation. Maybe an allergic reaction. It could also be roseacea. If its inflammation you could try to use a little Preparation H (cream for hemmoroids) on those spot and they should go away overnight. For an allergic reaction you just find out what product you are using that might cause it and stop using it. Roseacea (sp) wont just go away.

You really need to read "Rosacea Free Forever" by Laura Taylor (also available in electronic format here: http://www.rosaceafreeforever.info ). It's about how to permanently cure your Rosacea naturally. I cured my Rosacea permanently in only 4 days after reading this.

Stop paying paying each month good money on creams. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to do! They want to milk money from you each month.

Another name for redness is erythema. The fact that your skin stays red for a week concerns me. Check out the link. But you really should go to a dermatologist.

Maybe it's from a food allergy. I would suggest that you see
a dermatologist or your family physician. But, if they go away on their own, I wouldn't think it should be a serious.
