I already live in the United States. I personally have never been out of the country so I really can't judge, but I really don't see a difference between us and other countries except what we believe in.

I was not born here, i ve been here for 9 years and I LOVE IT. America is the land of freedom and opportunities. I did my last year of high school here, and realized you can decide what kind of life you have. If you go to school and work hard you are garenteed a decent life. Unfortunately, I can't say that of my native country. The American people complaining about the government just don't know how lucky they they are. Where I come from no one would dare say anything negative about the government because they'd find you and you'd probably be in Jail or dead.

I only live here because of the suburbs. Between you and me, our President and Vice President and all their cronies are horrible, our image outside of the US is at an all time low, and we're emitting too many greenhouse gases. Oh, yeah, and 65% of us are overweight.
You know. I've always kind of dreamed of living in a small town in the Amazon Rainforest. Too bad it'll be gone by the time I'm old enough.
Oh, and by the way, "Rio Madiera". I agree with most of what you're saying, but by saying that you have all of those things "down" in Canada, you, yourself are being somewhat arrogant.

I would like to live in the US (specifically, Seattle) if they had a decent health care system, less pollution, less blind partisanship, reproductive rights, gay rights, multiculturalism (instead of a melting pot), less crime, and way less arrogance. Luckily, I live in Canada, and we've got most of that down.
