Ok - so I'm a 15 year old girl and I have never gone past holding a guys hand or dancing (and it wasn't very close). Is that like normal? Cuz I have this guy friend - and we like each other - but we're not going out. Also - one of my friends said that I'm really innocent - and then my guy said that I was too. He meant it in a good way think - but what does this mean? And is it wrong to feel bad about holding his hand during a worship service in church?

it means you never held a guys hand or anything else for that matter and to some guys thats kinda cute, and no it isnt wrong to feel bad about holding his hand in church servings. i do that too sometimes and im about to be 18, it just shows you have a consience and you dont want to look bad when in church. and trust me you will look kinda bad (KINDA) if you do. but dont sweat it you shouldnt be worrying about so many things especially like this at your age, trust me ive pretty much always been worrying about this kinda stuff and later down the line it will get confusing so dont try to figure it out just let things go the way the are suppose to be.

It's not wrong to hold hands during church but it's just not an appropriate place. It's great that you're inexperienced and thinking clearly about trying new things. Keep this thinking as long as you can, being innocent is a virtue. It's really rare these days as kids are trying "adult" things at earlier ages without thinking the consequences through. Be young as long as you possibly can, being an adult comes with a lot of responsibilities and consequences based on your choices.

First of all your level of intimate experience is never a right or wronge answer it's one of those things where it is what it is. Everybody in general in life do different things at different times wether it's common or not. Theres absolutley nothing abnormal about it. As for him saying your innocent I can't think of that as being a bad thing because from the sounds of it you guys like eachother( so I don't think he would be trying to insult you). As for the holding hands in Church I personally don't feel that you should feel bad about it. You wouldn't feel bad about holding your best friends hand in church would you? Nothing to worry about:)

It's not wrong to hold hands in church - innocent means you are unaware of things or not involved in things. I think they are referring to your experience with guys, and I wouldn't take it as a bad thing at all. You are still VERY young - although it may bother you now, once you do grow and experience guys you can't go back and change anything - and it might not be as great as you imagine it to be. Stay young and innocent as long as you can - it's nothing at all to be ashamed of!!

Try and open up to the guy more if you get shy or nervous around him and be yourself even though it sounds hard.. I think holding his hand during a church worship service is sweet

Yes you're totally normal.

Just be 15 while you're 15.

You will spend most of your life being an adult....don't just cruise by all your young years wishing to be older, more experienced, etc.

To me, being innocent is a compliment. Unspoiled. Clean. I would think that what he and your friend meant.
