I have two suggestions. First, contact a sleep lab. They will hook you up to machines that monitor your breathing and heartbeat as you go through the different stages of sleep. If you have any breathing or heartbeat irregularities, they will help you with treatment. If there isn't anything wrong, then you will at least know for a fact that there's nothing wrong.
Second, to help you fall asleep at night in a relaxed state rather than stressed, try to meditate. Get an instrumental CD (I use pipe flutes and drums) and turn it so low that you almost can't hear it. Get in bed, snuggle into the comforters, close your eyes and just picture in your mind whatever calms you down and you enjoy, whether it's going swimming in the ocean, walking in the woods, or visiting with friends or family. Just let the thought go in whatever direction you want it to go, and it will soon be a dream in your sleep.
I hope this helps. Sleep Sweet and Blessings...

my dear,we are as humans, organics by nature. how long does a flower last,a plant a tree, grass.organic by nature, otherwise we would all be rocks,,,which are still made up/composed of similar materials.organic meaning we will all de-compose over time,as like all organic material.all organics have a time span, regardless. so we are as that.enjoy life while you can,it,s all to short,we have not much choices in that matter only how we do it.hopefully to benefit our longevity and others and hopefully help others along the way.

Me, I can't wait to die. Living is such a pain! You have a phobia of death. I read that many phobias are an electrical brain disturbance. Talk to your doctor about that, maybe they can give you some meds or something.

i have a similar problem...but only when i really and i mean really think hard and it is quiet....don't worry..when i did that i cried and cried...cause i could imagine not breathing and just be dead not doing anything, but then my gramma said....it is a better place and you will see friends there and it made me happy, so you do it too okay? just think of what my gramma said...or ask a relative and see what they have to say
don't worry so much..calm down when that happens okay?

Nope, it's bound to happen, so just stop worrying. You are needlessly worrying over something that you can not or will not avoid.

no I am not. Go to church or counseling so you can get a better understanding of death and you can accept it and not be afraid of it

Well, I'm not afraid of death because when I die, I wont suffer anymore. isn't that better than being on earth? (i am not advising you to commit suicide! that would be too stupid)
