Depends on what it was and how long you have been off it.
ADHD meds and similiar are common as a child, and usually ok once you have been off for a couple years.

I was in the Marine Corps for four years, I was diagnosed with bi polar while in the Marines, and was prescribed wellbutrin and lamictal. The Marine Corps gave me no issues about this what-so-ever. So I do not think you will have a problem, if you are dealing with a depression/bi polar disorder. Hope this helps. Oh and I also got out with an Honorable Discharge.

Probably depends on the mental health diagnosis, any lasting impairment, the relevant meds.
In other words if the meds were for a temporary but now cleared up condition maybe.
If they are for a long term, not curable problem. Hopefully and probably not. Can you see the problem of giving a schizophrenic or bipolar person access to military weapons?

depends. Bi Polar is an automatic PDQ with zero chance of a waiver. some other conditions are waiverable, but you must be off the meds(with doctor approval and supervision) for 12 months AND function normally during that time frame.. steady job or school, that sort of thing.

Im in the air force and i would have to say prolly not. Especially nothing that involves you having a gun or any kinda of nuclear responsibility. Its considered a threat to assests and people as well as security. We have had a few security forces (base cops) commit suicide and now they are strict about suicide and depression issues.

It depends what you had and when you stopped needing that medication. If you were depressed an required medication, but stopped needing it atleast over a year ago, then you'll be able to join the military (U.S). The same goes for ADHD/A.D.D.

I don't think so, look what's going on right now, you can not handle all that, this make you perhaps more depressed. But ask your recruiter...
