I hope it happens soon. The military is not meant to be a peacekeeping force, or to help install a government; it is meant to fight, and destroy the enemy. Unfortunately I don't think that will happen in the near future. People just don't understand what will happen if the military is not allowed to do what it is meant to do, and now that the Democrats have gained control of Congress, and have more of an influence we might not see the military permitted to do it's job for a while.

Should we ever have to go to war again, we are in for a battle. The nuclear weapons that have been created abroad nations make it hard for us to tie any hands. Unfortunately whether realized or not, we are at war....think about it, we are now fighting Iran in Iraq. There's a lot in the military world where the soldiers are more concerned about getting recognition for what they didn't do than for what they did do. Need an example?? Army and Special Forces----Army gets no respect when coming through a town because the town knows that a fired shot in the air doesn't mean anything someone might get a recognition for ceasing fire. Special Forces come through and respect is given because at the sign of any violence towards them, it's not a shot in the air. If the military was designed like special forces, I think a lot of the BS in Iraq right now would be over. In some sense, free reign is needed but not to make examples.

We have dipped our hands into too many buckets right now and God be with us should another Vietnam happen.

I think the same question was asked during (and after) the war in Vietnam. The answer to any conflict, like Vietnam, is usually a lot more complex than a single, simple military victory. In hindsight, you will see some of the errors that were made and were responsible for widening the conflict are revealed years after it is over.

#a million- inspite of what you have been advised, the conflict in Iraq became and nonetheless is definitely criminal. The conflict surely began lower back while Saddam invaded Kuwait (Dessert hurricane) and we drove his military out. That conflict in no way ended. there became no actual renounce basically an agreed ceasefire which Saddam violated for over 10 years. This became a resumption of that and the determination to realize this became authorized by utilising the two residences of Congress. That makes it criminal. #2-The President is the Commander-in-chief and can't be tried by utilising any defense force tribunal. The therapy for unlawful pastime (of which there is none) by utilising the President is impeachment. #3-the certainty is, the party that has been "trampling" the form has been generally the Democrat party commencing with FDR's socialist reforms. in view that he first tried it, Democrats interior the White domicile and Congress have been making each attempt to stack the final court docket with Liberal, schedule pushed Justices who mechanically trounce the form and shove Liberal transformations down the throats of the yank people. right it incredibly is the keyword to seek for: Republicans help "Constructionists" ultimate court docket Justices. Democrats help "Activist" ultimate court docket Justices. Republicans have faith the form could be interpreted because it became written and meant. Democrats have faith that's a basically a prevalent handbook. *

When we are allowed to just bomb a nation till all survivors submit and surrender unconditionly. Untill we war with a real nation that will not happen. You cannot declare war on ideology and succeed untill you are ready to defeat the nation(s) that bornes it. Muslims will always have a stronghold somewhere.
