Psychics dont know anything they use magician mind tricks to make you believe they know things then they take your money.
A psychic told the Missouri family that their missing son was dead. They found him looking for the younger boy that was recently obducted.
Dueteronomy 18
10There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
11Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Psychics and Magicians have secret ways of making us believe that they have done their thing (Whatever that might be; slight of hand, telling you about your past, or predicting the future.)
I have a list of about 25 things that a psychic can say about your past, and 90 out of 100 people will say "That person knew things about me that no one else knows"
Like, I can't remeber the exact words but something like this:
1. You are a trusting person, but you are wary of strangers.
2. You give the appearance of being an outgoing person, but deep in your heart you are rather shy.
3. You like order in your life, but right now, you have a messy living room. - or something like that ... Wow! Jewel, I can't remember all of them. I am sure you get the point.
Psychics also play a numbers game or percentage game. Tell 50 people it will rain tomorrow, tell a different 50 that it will not rain. If it rains or not, 50 people will think you are psychic.
Bible scriptures: Actually, (on some subjects) to predict the future is pretty basic. In the Bible certain people knew how to do that. They were called Prophets. Of course they also used certain tricks to do that. And, sometimes God used them as messengers.
Would you like for me to teach you how to predict the future?
You already probably do it all the time, you just don't call it that.
Predicting the future is simply predicting consequences.
E-mail me for a few excerpts from my book on the subject.
Say "goodnight" Jewel.

My mom believes in them, so it is kind of a touchy subject and she isn't willing to listen to me so I don't talk about it with her... But do consider Matthew 24:24 - "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect - if that were possible."
One psychic my mom was talking about wrote a book about how Jesus passed out on the cross then went to India, Egypt and France... And my mom was telling me how the psychic was a Christian.......... Its simple deception, and sadly many people fall into it.

Spirituality is born from a personal occurrence with a divine, psychic or mystical experience of one form or another which inevitably connects a person to All that Is/God/Goddess/Allah/Great Spirit /whatever you want to call it.
Religion is second hand opinion of someone else’s divine experience. I think you will find that religions, and especially fanatical religions, tend to separate and divide people, while spirituality brings people together.
Thank God that Spirituality is on the increase!

Who cares what the bible says. Look at the case of fraud Sylvia Brown, she told Shawn Hornbeck's parents that the missing teen was dead and charged $700/hour. He was found two weeks ago alive.

I think if someone had a true ability of premonition, they wouldn't let it be known to the world. Just think of all the military, scientists, and religious nuts that would be trying to get a hold of them. They might exist, they might not.
I don't really care what the bible says about it, seeing as it's pretty contradictory in itself.

I like what SCTV had to say in a sketch. They asked Miss Cleo of she was working September 10th. Cuz if she was, you would think she would have known about an event that would have such world magnitude. It was pretty funny, I thought. But in reality, I do not think any of us have the ability to receive revelation for anyone but ourselves. The Holy Ghost will prompt us with things that are relevant to our lives if we are in tune enough and willing to listen. We do not receive those promptings for anyone else.

psychics are people who are manipulated by evil spirits through the use of the occult, witchcraft, or religious activities.
there are those with gifts though. not the creeps who read palms. the people who get visions while they sleep, or who can actually feel another person's pain or who has a sixths sense in general.
witchcraft and idolatry are wrong, no matter how you use 'em.
