Well, first of all I wouldn't be snooping in my friends cabinets. What's in there is none of my business. But if I learned that they were on antidepressants, I wouldn't be shocked. In fact, many of my friends are taking them on the advice of their doctors.

First of all, I don't go snooping around in my friend's medicine cabinet. And you shouldn't have been either!
It's none of your business and you don't need to be "shocked". There are people on antidepressants everywhere. At least your friend is seeking help.

No I would not be shock to see any type of medication that my friends take. They take them for a reason (Doctor Order). It does not make them a bad/mental person. It is normal these days for people to take antidepressants.

Well, I first wouldn't be going into other people's medicine cabinets. Because what's in there isn't any of my concern.

But if I did learn that a friend was on such medication, I would not be shocked, and I wouldn't treat them any different either. I don't know that I would say anything either - but they would have my full support if they brought it up with me.

No i would not be shocked , there are so many people on aniti-depressants today, that it would not be something that would be un normal to find. Actully you should not of been in his/ hers cabinet in the first place, and if you are concerned about it, then why not ask your friend about it, and see why they are taking them.

First of all, how did you know the drug was an antidepressant? Did you write down the generic drug name and then look it up on the internet? And most important, why do you care?

It depends- does he/she act like they need antidepressants? Or do they act like their on antidepressants? Sleepy a lot? If I wanted to be a good friend, I would ask them about it and support them in whatever their situation is. Does he/she take them for a good reason or are they abusing them?

No, I wouldn't be shocked because a lot of people take anti-depressants. However, I hope you weren't snooping.

I would leave it, they are evidently getting help and it is truly non of your business there is a reason they have not told you about it. Don't mention it and stop going through other peoples stuff.
