Once I was having dinner at my friend's house and the family started talking, while my mind wandered. I don't know why I snapped out of it by laughing (I guess I thought I heard a punchline) but it turns out they were talking about a relative who just died. Nothing happened except that I learned a good lesson.

At work several colleagues & me will almost always laugh when something goes wrong, when we drop something or whatever... most of us do it and we know each other well enough to know it's not intended to be mean or 'laughing at' anyone. Generally we're alll laughing together including the person who messed up :-) However every spring (I work in tourism) we also get a few new people and we really have to watch ourselves 'cause not everyone can appreciate it, especially when they don't know us yet and may feel a bit insecure being new in the first place... And yes I have slipped up once or twice, burst out before I could catch myself.

as stress makes the world more unbearable every day, this is occurring more and more all the time, i have to choose my words and my friends so carefully that some still don't understand that a filthy factory mouth and fifteen years biker builder mouth can fly open and have flames come out or stupid things come out and Ron white says u can't fix stupid so i just hope they don't die over it, it would be the first or the last words to give someone a heart attack and die

So far I have been able to control myself, but I really find myself wanting to laugh at funerals.
