I am looking for a church in Long Beach, CA. I guess I am struggling with my spiritual path....I am not looking for any sort of church that focuses on one denomination (Catholic, Methodist, etc...) - I just want to look for a church that focuses on spiritual paths'....something non-denominational. Something to help me with my growth.

Thank you

Dear Spiritsoc:

Do not have the details I wish I could give to you, but simply, Benny Hinn offers a weekly class on non-denominational spiritual study in the Long Beach area, I believe. He teaches this class himself. Last I knew, he was located in that area for his classes.

Information can be found through his website, www.bennyhinn.com ; possibly a phone number as well. If not, call information for the Long Beach area. It may be listed under Benny Hinn Ministries. You couldn't do much better than him.

Best regards, Lana

There is no such thing as a non-denominational church. A denomination is defined by a specific set of acceptable beliefs. Every church has such a set of beliefs. If you don't think so, just hang around after the service and voice ideas contrary to what the pastor was preaching. A church whose set of beliefs don't quite line up with those of any existing denomination is simply a new denomination, one more split in Christianity, one more deviation from the stated will of God, "that they all may be ONE".

Look for a Calvary Chapel. They teach right from the bible.
