i keep reading that one of the main faults people see about religion is the bible.

i dont get it.

the bible was written by PEOPLE. people are flawed, stupid, and selfish.
sure these people MIGHT CLAIM that these are god's words... but heck do you believe every wacko that says god talks to them?
i dont.

i REFUSE to believe that god would pick ANYONE over anyone else to hear his/her/it's voice.

i also notice that alot of people use the bible's faults to pick out faults in FAITH. which shouldnt be the case. FAITH and RELIGION are TWO different things.

religion is a social group for people of faith.
faith is just the act of believing in a higher power.

and my question is..... how many of you have taken the time to think about these kind of things?

If Jehovah had used the rocks to speak to mankind, mankind would say, 'I won't listen to something I can step on.'
If Jehovah had used his angels to relate his messages, mankind would say, 'this is incomprehensible.
Their thoughts are higher than mine, so I can not be held accountable.'
Since Jehovah used men to speak, teach and record his written word, someone we can understand and look eye to eye with, someone who understands what it means to be human; then mankind has no excuse not to listen.
Rather we choose to hear or he or she refuses to hear the Truth from Gods word and when this wicked old system of things end; no one will be able to say, they were never given an opportunity to learn because the bible is being preached in the entire inhabited earth right now as we speak.

I did its pretty simple why ppl blame the faith it is because the humans who wrote the book made a mistake and the ppl who follow the faith just follow whats written in the book since there is no other possible way to get the true word of god as it was in the book if you follow it the way it is with true faith your just followin the wrong stuff with the right intentions somethin like that

I not only take time to think about what the Bible says, I think about it and meditate on it daily. Everyone has a choice. It is called free will. That just may be the way you see it. But there will be a day when at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. May God Bless U.

Oh, I've done a whole lot more than think. I've been studying the bible for a decade. I came to believe that the bible is what it claims to be, given by inspiration of God, because I've actually put in time reading and studying it.

And you....?
