If she's just a friend, why should she care? You should just go ahead and make a move. If you lose her as a friend over this, she wasn't much of a friend.

Well, you have no feelings for the 1st girl, and you have no clue if she likes you at all. It's pretty obvious you should try to get to know the 2nd girl. Cos you have an interest in her. Don't hold back just because you're worried a friend "might" get jealous. I doubt it would happen tho cos she would have hinted that she liked you. You would not be clueless bout her feelings if she did like you (1 year is a long time to figure out if a girl likes you. She probably likes you as a friend.) Best of luck with the new girl you're interested in. :-)

If you have really been just friends, then it should not be a problem. Just mention to her that there's someone you're interested in that you'd like to date. It might be awkward, but better than hurting her by just going ahead, then having her (and everyone else) think you're a womanizer. Tell the frined and you'll know by her reaction where your friendship will go from there. In the meantime, you don't want to miss out on the chance to see this woman you have got your eye on. Good luck. :)

Well when people ask if you are going out what does she do? Deny it or shyly smile and shake her head? Watch how she acts around other guys and how she acts around you. If you really dont have fealings for her than nothing should be stoping you from making the move on the girl that you do have feelings for. Your friend will should respect that you do not like her in that way.

You go ahead and make your move boo. It shouldn't matter what she thinks if yall are just friends. If she gets mad after you and the other girl start dating...oh well..she should've told you she felt more for you. I mean, yall could still be friends but of course things would have to change because you'd have a girlfriend. (hopefully) You sure you don't have feelings for her??? I know you're probably concerned about how she'll feel and that's fine but you have to do what's best for you.
Good luck

Talking always does the most for getting right answers. Ask your friend if she is taking your friendship personally. Are you sexual with her? If not after 6 months maybe she thinks of you as a just a friend too. Go in the direction your heart leads..it's always right

The only way you're ever going to find out and not hurt her feelings is to just ask her. If you're the friend you say you are, you'll be totally honest with her no matter what. She will respect you for it in the end, and your friendship may even become stronger.

Make your move with this new girl. If this girl has feelings for you..the one who you are afraid of her reaction...she will let you know. Go for this girl who you like. I mean honestly, we only live once..hell...you might have two girls going after you....and what man would turn that down? Huh????? Go with who you really like...life isn't full of that many hard decisions..make yours. You'll feel better in the end.

I think that you should just casually tell your friend of your intentions. If there has never been any mention of feelings between the two of you, you are free to do what you want.
