Religion is based upon the worship of a deity or deities. Therefore, evolution isn't a religion. Evolution is science.

Religious studies doesn't count as science, so they aren't added in the statistics. I got the numbers from 'www.talkorigins.org', where most of your creationist arguments are lambasted and proven wrong.

None of those objects possess the ability for genetic mutations or to undergo natural selection, so your analogy is meaningless.

Now, KC, are you just trying to incite people or are you actually trying to get them to consider your point?
You know (or should know, after our talks) that the main problem in all of this is in our logical capacities. If something is beyond our train of logical comprehension it must be rejected - that's what an Atheist thinks, right?
And yet, God is someone/something that cannot be comprehended using only human logic - He is a spiritual existence that surpasses our inadequate logical processes.
With that, the questions you asked here are moot point questions. You are looking for the logical responses and can't be happy with any other possibilities.

For all those who say Creation is a fairytale.
Answer these...
Did the PC evolve from the TV?
Did the Car evolve from the motorbike?
Did the Aeroplane evolve from the Helicopter?
Did the Petronas tower evolve from a hut?
When this cant happen, How can living beings which are much more complex evolve from one another.
There was much engineering, design, planning involved when the first PC was made. But then to change it from Pentium I to Pentium IV was not evolution, it was infact re-engineering, reducing scan times, re-design at the structural level which resulted in the Pentium IV chip being manufactured or lets say 'Created'
the most complex of all machines in this world, viz. the human body evolved from apes???
Dont you see the miracle of creation???

Your percentage of scientist that accept evolution is way off. More and more scientist are beginning to accept intelligent design. The big problem with evolutionists is that they can't explain where the information for life came from. For that reason, many scientist are stating to accept creation.

It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it."

1) because the majority of scientists are atheist, and therefore will not listen when you present the improbability of it all
2) because they lack common sense. mutations are not proven to ADD genes, so how could an animal become more advanced?
3) because more atheists will confront it here.
and seriously, recheck your numbers. I doubt that 99.85% is a correct statistic, especially with Christian Science, Theology and micro-evolution being studies of their own.

Lord Bacon says that atheism leaves to man reason, philosophy, natural piety, laws, reputation, and everything that can serve to conduct him to virtue; but superstition destroys all these, and erects itself into a tyranny over the understandings of men: hence atheism never disturbs the government, but renders man more clear- sighted, since he sees nothing beyond the boundaries of the present life. -- Bacon's Moral Essays

Most scientists aren't that smart in this area exactly because it takes a lot of philosophical thinking. In truth most scientists today are followers of custom and tradition in these areas.
They are also just products of their enviroment and never vigorously critically examined the implausability of that laughable theory. Evolution is not science it is philosophy and in some ways pseudo-cosmological, the success of scientifc endeavors in other areas has led many to have faith in it in other areas where it is in error and most people are led on like peasants following the village alchemist.

Albert Einstein believed in a God and he was very intelligent. To the person who quoted Albert Einstein I guess to prove a point, I never said he believed in a personal God but the fact remains that he still believed in a God.
"I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings."
