That's very good. If the average person out there did what you're doing daily, then the world would be a much more healthier place. Make sure you're getting enough calories in your diet to keep your energy levels up! Good luck - Andrew

I don't think what you are doing is enough for special ops. I would run, swim, and PT(calisthenics) more. Swimming and running is very important. I think if you did swimming and cross country/distance track at your school that would be a good way to prepare. Soccer is also alright since there is a lot of running, but I'm not sure if it is as good as track or cross country.

Upper body strength/endurance is also important. Bodyweight calisthenics (push-ups, pull-ups, dips, etc.) can get you ready for special ops. Lifting weights can also get you ready. If you don't have access to a weight room, don't worry about lifting weights. You can still prepare using just calisthenics.

Don't worry too much about your size. For one you seem young and will probably grow and another thing is a lot of guys I know that are into this kind of thing aren't that big (myself included). A couple guys that I know that are only 5'9" or so and about 160 pounds can outperform some of the taller and heavier guys mostly because they are mentally tougher and can push themselves.

Yes its a good combination but it depends on what the additional exercises are, if its like abs yeah its pretty, good, its very important that you stretch, I used to come home from a very hot football practice where we ran like all day, id come home eat and go out and run again, lol. But yeah Pretty good. Hey, Can you email on some stuff you do at soccer practice at uphill.fitness@yahoo.com, because i have like over 150+ Drills but i dont have any from soccer. Can you send me some. Thanks.
