Let's say they needed an extra 85,000 troops in iraq and if you got drafted that is where you would be sent.

I would do the same thing I would have done if I had gotten my draft notice for Vietnam. Take off to the Great White North. I have people in Canada, a wonderful country that doesn't invent wars.
I would not think twice about defending my country against a true threat. But I will not risk my life for purely political purposes.
I believe every service person is truly a patriot for volunteering and fighting. But I also believe that the people who sent them there are traitors to America. To cause these brave people to fight and die because of lies.

Well seeing I am 63 & servered 22 years already I guess I could go. Maybe I could lean on something & shot my rifle. By the way I am for the draft.

I would join the marines if they instituted a draft. I am planning on going to the marines, so going sooner would be no big deal

That is an easy one to answer. You go wherever the military wants you to go. This is even true if you enlisted for a certain MOS, or specialty. After you are sworn in, they tell you this flat out.

Join up with Blackwater USA - you can make $1,000 dollars a DAY there providing mercenary services. Way more $$ than the lowly enlisted/conscripted guy!

I would show them my Disabled American Veteran card and my Air Force retirement and discharge papers and ask them what they need.

HeII at 59, disabled and retired Master Sergeant I should be able to get a pretty good job.

If i were drafted I would fight, but I would try to be a soldier who does little fighting. If they made me do heavy combat I would wnt to have the best training and weapons at my disposal. I would accept being drafted because I would be fighting to end terror
