Now almost anyone can get a great quality video camera for cheap and shoot professional-looking short films. It may not be Panavision but technology continues to improve and before you know it they'll make cheap video cameras with that quality that anyone can use!

Anybody can have a quality camera, just like anybody can have a scalpel, knowing how to use it correctly is a completely different story.

No, because nobody pays to see someone's home-made films. Superior quality capabilities doesn't make up for all that Hollywood studios can create. Imagine trying to film "The Matrix" with a $1000 handheld video camera. Having the best camera in the world won't make anyone into a great moving maker.

I can make a $5000.00 guitar sound like crap and my guitar teacher can make a $50 guitar sound like a million bucks.

The amateur movie market poses no threat to major movie studios because amateur movies don't have the audience that a blockbuster movie has. They also don't have the money to release it to a wide audience. Their best bet is probably through the internet, but they won't be making a whole lot of money.

to get broadcasting quality you need to spend at least $5000, but you can get a $100.000 camera and if you don't know how to use it and don't have a good script you sunk
