Have you been to a dermatologist? It sounds like you have severe acne, so the best advice would be to see a doctor first.
If that is not an option, try the generic ProActive. It is sold at Target and Walmart, and is about a 1/3 of the price!! I have heard from several people (my husband included) that it works just like ProActiv!!
Please keep in mind that you are probably also going through puberty, so this is probably a temporary problem that will eventually clear up. Good luck!!

Proactiv works for me but it sounds like you have a more severe case of acne. If you use proactiv the most affect way is using it everday as a daily routine. If you stop your skin won't breakout. I suggest that you go to a skin specialists though and ask them what the best thing for your skin would be. They can give you something that will really work.

There is nothing you can do to stop acne. But you can reduce it. Acne is basically something that is clogging your pores so you can reduce acne by washing your face at least twice a day, especially after sweating or being exposed to dust or dirt. Don't use products that are oil based or have too much alcohol. Proactiv i have heard is very good, but if you want something cheap, go for clearasil.

Everyone says proactive, but it never worked for me. I went through a stage where NOTHING worked. I started taking a women's multivitamin and it worked great! I still take them and I haven't had one pimple since. Even if I fall asleep with makep I never get even one. Before you go out and buy something expensive like that, try a multivitamin. Make sure you take one that is for women or whatever you need. You can even take the generic brand and they still work lovely. Just make sure you follow what the directions say, and to drink plenty of water. Good luck.

Proactiv will change your life. My daughter had bad acne when she was about 14, I ordered for her and she used it for about 3 days and her face cleared completely. She used it for about 6 months and now does not use it anymore. Her face is still clear.

Proactiv does work, but it's super harsh on the skin. I like the Sanitas skin care line the best for acne. It also wouldn't hurt to call around to some salons and get prices on facials, sometimes you can find a deal, and an esthetician can give you recommendations on what's best for your skin type.

Proactiv is good, clean and clear soap is also good but too many products dries out your skin. Put toothpaste on bad spots overnight to reduce redness. It sounds silly but it really works. Dab a little on a problem area, go to sleep, wake up, wash it off. Don't forget to wash it off or you'll feel quite silly.

You should visit a dermatologist they might be able to prescribe something that helps your skin. I used to try every over the counter product and none of them worked for me. Now i use a precription and my skin is clear.
