Honestly sometimes they do. They look upon kids as jsut extra responsibility they're just not ready to take on. but if a nice guy comes around He'll love your kids and wont back away from the responsibily that may come with the relationship

I have a 2 year old son and I make it my business to let any guy that I'm interested in know that I have a child. I tell him upfront and in the beginning before we even think about going out on a date. So if a guy wants to date me he needs to know that he has to accept my child or keep walking.
There are men out there that don't want to date a woman if she has a child or children. They may find us less attractive but I wouldn't know because I'm not a guy. I don't consider myself or any other woman damaged goods. Having a child is a blessing. So if a man can't see himself dating a woman because she has a dependent, then its his loss. Women with children are not less attractive...we're just as attractive as the next woman.

In my opinion a lot of it has to do with the age of the males. Some who are younger may indeed not be interested in the extra baggage. But as males get older they realize that most relationships come with some extras and they indeed may be part time fathers themselves and so do not have a problem with it. Actually many men who are in their 30's or 40's love kids and look at this as an asset rather than a negative. Also it depends on what type of fella your looking for. If your bar hopping the majority of these guys are looking for a one night stand and not a long term relationship. But if you meet a gentlemen lets say in a group of people who have the same interests as you he may be a lot more receptive to this also.

Yes because they do not want to take care of some one eles problem that is what I find , you may find 1 out of 600 men that do not care less but they are real men to me . But a woman with no kids looking for a man are the same way they do not want to take care of their old men problems so it go's both way .

personally (maybe this is just me) but i dont really care if a girl already has a kid and ive dated a girl that was pregnant before, which by the way it wasnt mine and i didnt know til later on but i stayed with her. i actually kind of like it because i can have a kid or at least pretend like i do without having to worry about having to have sex to have it (not saying i wouldnt). but if a guy is dumb enough to let a good girl like you (even though i dont know you) go just because she has a kid or made a dumb mistake then i say "his loss".

Me, I dont mind if they have children, as long as that woman knows that I want to have at least one child of my own.

well i can't say from a man's point of view, but a male friend of mine is really into this girl who has a 2 year old daughter. It doesn't bother him at all.

that is so sad. I hope not cause there is no way me or my child will ever be damaged goods and she will always be my best girl.No man will ever come before her.
