I have been having problems with dandruff. Is this a sign of something and what kind of shampoo should I use.

You probably just have dry skin or are reacting to the shampoo you're currently using. There are HEAPS of shampoos and lotions on the market. The one I found that works best for me is the Head and Shoulders Dry Scalp Care one. Selsun is also a good brand for that. Best bet is to go to the shop, pick one, get a small container or ask the chemist for a sample pack if they have one. Try it out for a week. If it doesnt work throw it out or give it away and try a different brand. Dandruff comes and goes with the seasons and can get worse if you're stressed. Don't leave your hair until it gets really oily to wash it - it will get worse but dont over wash it... It's just a case of trial and error. If none of the shampoos work or it gets worse, get a referral to a dermatologist (skin specialist) from your GP. Good luck

It's a sign of dandruff, that's all.

Use any shampoo designed for dandruff relief. Almost every brand has a shampoo specifically for that.

Lots of people have dandruff. It just means you have dead skin. It's not a huge deal. A lot of people have it. Use head and shoulders shampoo everday it works really well.

Sometimes it isn't a condition, but just dry skin. After washing with a mild shampoo and conditioning lightly, do a final rinse of white vinegar in your hair, then rinse with water.
You will crave pickles for a little while, the odor will abate and then you may have shinny clear hair.

good luck & blessing
